#WPE14: Agfa’s new ‘eXPERT Services’ for newspaper publishers

Launched on 9 October, and being offered to European customers for the first time this week at World Publishing Expo 2014 in Amsterdam, Agfa Graphics describes its “eXPERT Services,” as a new series of programs such as ISO-based quality control procedures, training, consultancy and system integration specifically-designed to ensure newspaper printers that their organisational needs are being met and that everything from CTP to press is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Agfa’s “eXPERT Services” program is built around four primary objectives: IQA (ISO Quality Assist), CTP Advanced Set-up & Integration, Consultancy and Training.

The company says each segment of the program is designed to ensure newspaper publishers are getting the most from their prepress and press investment.

At the core of the new “eXPERT Services” are the IQA (ISO Quality Assist) programs. “IQA” uses industry standards and procedures to ensure reproducible quality from prepress to press to conform to ISO 12647-3.

“Agfa eXPERT Services” will be offered to the rest of the world beginning in 2015.
