Social media may be a minefield of distortion and disinformation, but it also remains an indispensable tool for connectivity and communication. And, in the spirit of collaboration that is so vital to a news industry challenged on all fronts, WAN-IFRA is intent on retaining our global networks and growing our various communities, wherever they are.

WAN-IFRA serves as a Knowledge Hub for journalists, newsrooms, media leaders and practitioners worldwide.

We advocate for genuine human connections in a world where  information and communication is becoming increasingly distorted.

Our CEO, Vincent Peyregne, publishes  a regular newsletter with comprehensive industry snapshots. 

We also share regularly on Facebook, X and, more recently also, Instagram and Threads

You can also watch and share our events, webinars and more on our  YouTube channel. 

We even run social communities exclusively for our members to exchange insights with peers. Our Data Science Experts group, a Slack community with +400 members, and  World Printers Forum has a WhatsApp group.

WAN-IFRA WIN is perhaps the community within our organisation with the most active social feeds. WIN posts regular updates on LinkedIn, Facebook and X.

World Editors Forum is active within these channels, and also maintains its own presence on Facebook, X and, since January, Bluesky.
