Fernando de Yarza López-Madrazo is President of Henneo, one of the leading Spanish groups in the media and technology sectors, with 3,000 employees and over 100 million euros turnover in 2022. He has been elected President of the Board of WAN-IFRA in 2019.
He is Chairman of Taller de Editores, Spanish largest magazine publisher ; President of the Association of European Publishers News Media Europe (NME) and a Vice-President at the Spanish Asociacón de Medios de Información (AMI).
De Yarza was President of News Media Europe (the European trade body representing over 2500 European news brands in print or online, and on radio and tv) between 2016 and 2021. He was interim President of the Spanish association AMI between 2020 and 2021. He has held management positions at Telefónica-Terra, where he was in charge of content purchasing, and was Director General of Dasa-Logística Editorial.
De Yarza was born in Zaragoza on June 18, 1971. He is married with three daughters.
A graduate in Economics and Business from Hogeschool Zeeland (the Netherlands), Fernando also holds an MBA from the European School of Business and an EMBA from Universidad de Navarra-IESE, and was visiting student at Universities of Michigan and CEIBS of Shanghai.
Fernando is member of the board of Aragón association of children with brain palsy (Atades), and member of the board of Real Zaragoza football club.
