Tapping the potential of data journalism in Myanmar

For the first time in over 30 years, Myanmar has access to census data, allowing journalists to do evidence-based reporting and fostering a debate on the development of the country. To strengthen the skills of local reporters, the United Nations Polulation Fund (NFPA) set up the Data Journalism Project together with UNESCO and the Myanmar Journalism Institute.
