
Serm Teck Choon is a technology entrepreneur, executive, and author with over two decades of experience in digital transformation, data, and media innovation. He is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Antsomi, a Southeast Asia based marketing technology company specialising in data platforms and AI-enabled customer intelligence, helping organisations adopt data driven operating models at scale.
Prior to founding Antsomi, Serm held senior leadership roles including Malaysia Country Head at CtrlShift and Head of Digital Products at Star Media Group, where he led digital product strategy and transformation initiatives within the media and advertising ecosystem.
Serm is a founding member of the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) and served as its 4th President from 2016 to 2020, completing two consecutive terms. During his tenure, he worked closely with industry stakeholders to advance standards, capability development, and ecosystem growth for Malaysia’s digital media and advertising industry.
Recognised for his industry expertise and strategic perspective, Serm is frequently invited by media and industry platforms to comment on digital transformation, data strategy, and emerging technologies. He is also an active mentor, competition judge, and jury member for regional and international digital awards, including WAN-IFRA’s Worldwide Digital Media Awards and the Asian Digital Media Awards.
Serm is the author of The Survival Kit in the Digital Era (2023) and The AI Era 2053 (2024), where he examines the long-term implications of technology and artificial intelligence on business, leadership, and society.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Nottingham.
