Admire Mare is Head of Department at the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Department of Communication and Media Studies (CAM). Prior to rejoining UJ, Mare was the Acting Head and Deputy Head of the Department of Communication at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). He serves as a research fellow at the University of Witwatersrand’s Centre for the Study of the United States, NUST’s Namibia’s Integrated Land Management Institute (ILMI) and Research Fellow at the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE).
