He is an academic researcher and a doctoral fellow at CONICET. He specializes in the study of disinformation and the impact of AI. He is a journalist and a professor of Journalism at the University of Concepción del Uruguay (Argentina). He is the co-founder and Executive Director of Proyecto Desconfío. He also works as a trainer, having trained more than 1,500 journalists across Latin America in techniques and tools to combat disinformation. He is one of the founders of the Global Summit on Disinformation.
