Alejandro Valdez Sanabria is a product designer and co-founder at El Surti, a native digital journalism publisher that seeks to empower communities through the design of accessible information that encourages public participation. With El Surti, he has received multiple recognitions, including the Premio Gabo a la Innovación. He is a member of the Society for News Design and a grantee of the JournalismAI Innovation program at Polis, part of the London School of Economics. He regularly collaborates as a media mentor across Latin America and participates as a guest lecturer in universities and industry programs.
