Amantha is Director and Consultant at the Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma, Asia Pacific (DCAP). His expertise focuses on developing safe and professional hybrid workspace for journalists and communication specialists. He has led and co-facilitated training programs and workshops across Asia and the Pacific. He recently led the DCAP fellowship on tackling technology facilitated gender-based violence and will be the lead facilitator in a similar program focusing on the Mekong Region.  Amantha is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Australia and his research is developing an innovative approach to tackling technology facilitated hazards titled ‘the digital flak jacket’.
