Ana María Reyes, is the Digital Strategy Director at Grupo OPSA. She has led the great transformations of the media industry in Honduras.

She has more than 35 years of experience in exploring, deciphering, and learning about the digital transformation path of the world’s major media companies and how to apply it to Honduras and Central America, through technology. She has been responsible for leading the technological and digital transformation of Grupo OPSA, a leader in media in Honduras.

The most recent projects have been the technological renewal of their systems, including the CMS used by the newsrooms, ad ops and pre-press applications. The implementation of the technology that enables MIDRI, a tool that allows audiences segmentation based on their interests and run digital advertising campaigns with great precision, generating value for our advertisers. MIDRI is the spearhead of OPSA’s first party data strategy and is changing the way digital advertising is managed in media publishing in Honduras. The launch of the registration wall in Diario La Prensa and El Heraldo, on their path towards digital subscriptions.

She considers herself a passionate and an evangelist of technology and digital, in addition to permanently research and in-depth study of the media industry, specifically in digital transformation strategy, with the aim of identifying opportunities applicable to the development of the company, where of course technology is a great enabler. She has a degree in business administration, with multiple diploma studies, conferences, seminars and high-level workshops in Latin America, the US and Europe. Most of them focused on management, technology, and digital development in prestigious international institutions.

She has participated as a speaker in the main industry forums such as WAN-IFRA Latam, INMA Latam, SIP, FIPP. For more than 8 years she has been a member of the INMA Latam board.
