Andrea Kučera is a political journalist based in Zurich. Until April 2024, she worked for several years as a correspondent in the Swiss capital Bern, covering national politics for the weekly newspaper NZZ am Sonntag. Prior to that, she was a correspondent for the French-speaking part of Switzerland for the daily edition of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ). Since the end of summer 2024, she has been working as a freelance journalist. Andrea is a member of the board of the Swiss section of Reporters Without Borders, a Paris-based non-profit organisation that defends the freedom, independence and pluralism of journalism worldwide.
