As Head of Audio, Anja Wölker oversees all podcast efforts at FUNKE Medien NRW. This includes defining the strategic direction, developing formats, and providing editorial support for audio projects from the three media brands: WAZ, NRZ, and WP.  After earning her master’s degree in Journalism, Anja began her career training at local radio station Radio Essen. She then transitioned into podcasting and worked as a podcast editor for Rheinische Post before starting at FUNKE.
