Arlene Burgos is the Chief Content Officer of INQUIRER.net, the leading news website in the Philippines. With more than 20 years of experience in journalism and leadership, Arlene has a solid track record in audience development, and in leading content, operations, strategy, and business.

She previously worked for ABS-CBN, where she established its social media and mobile processes and spearheaded the operations of one of the biggest fleets of social media accounts by a news organization in the Philippines. She is an alumna of the Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo, the Asia Journalism Fellowship in Singapore, and the Senior Journalists Seminar of the East-West Center.

In addition to her accomplishments, Arlene is the Director of the Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) at the Ateneo de Manila University and lectures on journalism and social media.
