Christin joined the International Licensing department at Axel Springer in Hamburg, August 2015, after graduating in International Business (BA) and Strategic Management (MA). In 2020 she became Head of Licensing and looked after all kind of license partnerships for the brands AUTO BILD and COMPUTER BILD. Since sustainability became a key element in both brand visions in the end of 2021.
Christin showed interest in expanding her knowledge and started specializing in sustainability in order to develop sustainability strategies for both brands and align their goals with the climate strategy of Axel Springer, published in 2022. She led the TÜV NORD audits to validate the carbon footprints and thereby reached the “carbon neutral products” certification for all print products of AUTO BILD, COMPUTER BILD and SPORT BILD.
Furthermore she supported the audit process for all print products of BILD and WELT that also were certified as “carbon neutral products” in the beginning of 2023. Since June Christin is Head of Sustainability for the BILD media group, works closely with the Corporate Sustainability Team of Axel Springer to implement further carbon reduction measures and strives for an overall sustainability strategy for the different brands of the BILD media group.
