Euan Rocha currently leads the Reuters bureau in Bangalore – the largest Reuters bureau in the world, home to hundreds of media professionals that work in reporting, editing, curation, polling, photo editing, publishing, graphical storytelling, and other functions.

Prior to this as Reuters South Asia News Editor, Euan steered Reuters’ coverage of the pandemic and the race to vaccinate over a billion people. He also steered coverage of rising Indo-China tensions, India’s demonetization exercise, sectarian violence in India, and political and economic crises in Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Euan began his career with Reuters in Bangalore before going on to spend more than a decade in the United States and Canada where he helmed coverage of coverage of everything from the downfall of BlackBerry to the Bombardier meltdown.
