Fabrice Fries has been Chairman and CEO of AFP since April 2018, and is also currently the president of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA). He was previously CEO of Publicis Consultants, a Paris-based corporate communications agency of Publicis Group, and also held various management positions at Havas (publishing), Atos (tech) and Vivendi (media). He started his career in the French ministry of Finance and at the European Commission (as a member of Jacques Delors’ staff). He graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure and ENA.
