
Gabriel Sands is the Head of News & Lifestyle Partnerships on Reddit’s Media Business Development team, where he connects media outlets and publishers to Reddit’s network of over 100,000 communities. Most recently, he helped introduce Reddit’s first-ever suite of tools for publishers to help build their presence on the platform. Previously, he was a Marketing Director at Refinery29, where he oversaw growth partnerships, syndication, and special projects. He got his start working on media projects for film director and former Vanity Fair editor, Matt Tyrnauer, contributing to the distribution and marketing of the Oscar-shortlisted documentary, Valentino The Last Emperor. He has a BA in gender theory from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. His favorite subreddit is r/succulents.
