Gail Scriven

Gail Scriven has been Deputy General Editor of La Nación since March 2018. She joined the newspaper in 1998 as editor-in-chief of the El Mundo section after having worked in other media and radio stations, in addition to having been a correspondent for several North American magazines. Over the past few years, she has led cultural transformation and innovation teams in La Nación’s editorial team. Beyond her role as Deputy General Editor, she has direct responsibility for the special In Depth team, which covers the most innovative productions at La Nación, as well as the Society, Security, and Buenos Aires sections. She has covered news abroad, including in Brazil, the United States, Germany, and other countries. She has participated in various journalism conferences around the world, held by organizations such as WAN-Ifra, INMA, and the Grupo de Diarios América (GDA).
