Georg Eckelsberger is an investigative reporter and media entrepreneur based in Vienna, Austria. He is a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of DOSSIER, a nonprofit newsroom specializing in investigative and data-driven journalism and one of the first organizations of its kind in the German-speaking region. His reporting has focused on topics such as corruption, money laundering, and systemic failures, often in cross-border collaborations. Beyond reporting, he leads DOSSIER’s editorial team and develops new approaches to digital storytelling. Eckelsberger also teaches investigative journalism and storytelling at journalism schools and through the DOSSIER Academy, mentoring the next generation of investigative reporters.
