Imelda Alcantara is the Chief Operating Officer for Digital of Inquirer Interactive, Inc. Prior to her appointment, she served as the Inquirer Group’s Chief Strategic Planning Officer which gave her an overall view of the media business and sharpened her skills in strategic management, business development, operations planning, execution and organizational development. She has been with the Inquirer Group for more than three decades, having been assigned to different media units in various roles until her appointment as COO of online operations in February 2020. Imee finished her degree in AB Behavioral Science from the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila and Masters in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Makati City, Philippines.
