Juan Ginzo leads the Data Science and MLOps teams at News UK, where he is responsible for operationalising machine learning and generative AI at scale. A 2023 JournalismAI Fellowship alumnus, Juan has collaborated closely with newsrooms on AI-driven projects, including predictive models for article performance and GenAI applications for editorial workflows. Prior to News UK, he held senior data science roles at EDF, Boehringer Ingelheim, Lloyds Banking Group and Tesco, building deep expertise across forecasting, optimisation and NLP. Juan also served as a Lead Instructor of Data Science at General Assembly, where he played a key role in developing the immersive data science programme in London.
