
Juan Manuel is an innovation and digital transformation expert with more than two decades of experience. As Google’s News Partnerships Lead for the Southern Cone, he oversees strategic collaborations with news organizations, universities, and civil society to advance media sustainability and accelerate digital transformation. Previously, he served as Head of the Google News Lab for Spanish-speaking Latin America, where he launched more than 60 regional innovation programmes.
In addition to his corporate leadership role, Juan Manuel is an academic, teaching at Universidad Austral and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, where he specializes in political communication, communication management, journalism, and digital business. He continues to expand his expertise in artificial intelligence and digital transformation through executive education programmes at MIT, Stanford University, Cornell University, and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is also a technology entrepreneur who has co-founded several companies and is a sought-after speaker on digital strategy and marketing.
