AI Lead and member of the Board of Directors at La Silla Vacía, where she leads the organization’s Artificial Intelligence Lab. Professor of New Technologies in the Social Communication Program at the University of Cartagena. Her career has developed at the intersection of journalism, technology, and AI, with experience in media outlets such as El Heraldo and El Espectador, and in organizations such as Fundación Gabo and the Google News Initiative.

A researcher in digital media, she has participated in projects such as El Hormiguero, focused on business models for digital native media, and Desiertos Informativos, a regional study on local news ecosystems in Latin America. Her training includes certifications in News Product Management and participation in the U.S. Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program. Since 2009, she has written Noches de Media, a leading blog on journalism and technology where she explores the digital transformation of the profession from a Colombian Caribbean perspective.
