Laia Seró Moreno is a journalist and academic researcher. She graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holds master’s degrees in Anthropology and Ethnography and in UX/UI. For over seven years, she has been working at the leading Catalan newspaper ARA, currently as Digital Managing Editor. Before joining ARA, she also contributed to publications such as Público, Barcelona Metròpolis and the magazine Deriva. In the academic sphere, she has carried out gender-focused research for museums (such as the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, the Museu Marítim de Mallorca and the Museu Terra) and is in the final stages of her doctoral thesis, which explores how journalism can collaborate with museums to make their narratives more egalitarian, diverse, and inclusive.
