Born in Madrid in 1986, Laura Rodríguez studied Advertising and Communication at the University of Valladolid and University Carlos III of Madrid. She started her career in journalism (local radio and TV) but soon moved to the business side. With nearly 15 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Laura specializes in CRO as it combines creativity, data and experimentation.

After roles in digital consulting, the humanitarian sector –one of the earliest adopters of subscription-based models– and Leroy Merlin, Laura has spent the past 3 years as CRO & Acquisition Manager in elDiario.es: a newspaper that combines independent and trustworthy journalism with performance-driven marketing. Here, she has optimized a dynamic paywall powered by machine learning to increase subscription conversions and is currently leading several new AI-driven projects set to launch soon.
