Luis, a native of Spain, holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Navarra (Spain). He complemented his studies with a Master’s Degree in Publishing at the University of Salamanca and completed an Advance Management Program (AMP) at the Instituto de Empresa (IE).
Luis currently holds the position of Vice President of Publishing at Teads LATAM. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the digital marketing and IT sector, and stands out for his specialization in video, mobile devices and programmatic advertising.
In October 2016, he moved to Miami to head up Teads’ Publishing department across Latin America, leading all publisher relationships in the region including Brazil. Previously he worked for Teads Spain for three years as Publishing Director. His outstanding performance has led to his promotion to the position of Vice President of Publishing for Teads LATAM.
In his current role, Luis is responsible for leading all operations with Publishers in LATAM, ranging from business development to customer service. Under his supervision, more than 500 media outlets are managed across the region, including more than 2,000 websites for both desktop and mobile devices and connected TVs (CTVs). Over the past three years, he has achieved an eight-fold increase in inventory in Latin America, closed 25 regional strategic deals with leading media in each country and successfully introduced Teads’ new advertising products and formats.
Prior to joining Teads, Luis worked in Spain for nationally and internationally recognized companies such as France Telecom – Orange, Telemadrid and Metro News, among others.
