Magda Bandera has been awarded with recognised journalism prizes on different occasions for her work and compromise against gender violence. Cofounder of La Marea in 2012, and editor in chief and director since 2015. Before participating in the cooperative’s foundation, she has been working as freelancer for several media such as El Periódico de Catalunya, La Vanguardia, Marie Claire, etc. She occupied different positions in Público (2007-2012). Currently she collaborates with different mainstream media like Cadena SER, TVE and TV3.
