Mark is a commercial / media advertising strategist.

He has also served as both European and global President of INMA and had previously sat on the international board for over 10 years,  having recently led INMA’s Advertising Initiative (the news industry’s deeper dive into media advertising).
Mark has worked in the print and digital news publishing world most of his career, spanning 30+ years, holding senior commercial roles at key, globally renowned media companies such as The Telegraph (Mobile Platforms Director), Daily Mail (Head of Promotional Marketing & Advertising) and The Mirror (Commercial Director) in the UK.

He consults with publishing groups across the world on the transition to digital from a commercial perspective, and sits on the UK’s Code of Advertising Practice panel (CAP) for the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), deciding what is legal, decent, honest & truthful in high profile, advertising and marketing campaigns.

He produces a monthly “Future of News Media Advertising” newsletter on his Linkedin page, runs a weekly interview series with global media leaders, for The DRUM (one of the world’s largest marketing websites for brands and agencies), as well running an advertising committee made up of senior executives from across the world’s news media.
Mark is former global President of the International News Media Association (INMA) and ran their Advertising Initiative (an industry deep dive into the future of advertising for news media).
