Moritz Lehmkuhl came across the topic of climate action in 2003. At that time, he was managing an EU-funded project and developed a concept on how companies can get involved in climate action. In 2004, he became self-employed in this field and founded ClimatePartner in 2006. Together with now more than 250 employees from more than 20 countries, he develops comprehensive solutions with which companies can calculate and reduce their own CO 2 emissions and those of their products, and offset unavoidable emissions through certified carbon offset projects. The methodological spectrum is constantly being expanded to meet the changing requirements of industry and international standards for climate action.
Moritz Lehmkuhl holds a degree in Business Administration (University of Münster), is a postgraduate student of Harvard University and the Indian School of Business and was awarded the title of Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010.
