Patricia is a science and technology journalist and coordinator of Maldita Tecnología at Fundación Maldita.es. She has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Murcia and specialised in Science and Technology Journalism at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

She has worked for five years in the Spanish edition of MIT Technology Review and has collaborated in media outlets such as El País, elDiario.es, El Confidencial, Muy Interesante, and Forbes Spain; in addition to radio, Twitch, content creation for social networks and event moderation. She has been awarded the Boehringer Ingelheim Award for Journalism in Medicine, the Orange Journalism and Sustainability Award, and the Communication Award from the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

At Fundación Maldita.es she is focused on explaining the impact of technology and digital platforms on people’s lives, from how social networks affect cybersecurity and data protection, and on analyzing the relationship between artificial intelligence and disinformation.
