As an astute thought leader, he has 25+ years of experience in managing teams across Content, Sales & Business Development, Product Development, and Operations Management across leading telecom operators in India. Experienced in having excelled in start-up conditions and successfully scaling businesses from scratch. Now leading teams, delivering stakeholder objectives, disrupting, innovating, and adapting to evolving markets. Heading content across the portfolio for India’s largest vernacular platform and building the go-to content destination for Bharat.

During his tenure, he has held key leadership positions, including Vice President of Content Strategy and Head of Strategic Business. As CEO of Oneindia, he spearheaded initiatives such as Oneindia Films, WISE & Spark Originals (AI-powered content and video solutions), and OneArabia, the company’s first international venture focused on the MENA market. Under his leadership, Oneindia underwent its first rebrand in 25 years, revitalising the company’s identity to meet the demands of a modern, digital-first audience. Ravanan’s leadership saw Oneindia expand its video reach into multiple Indian languages. This growth, alongside strategic initiatives, contributed to Oneindia’s ranking among the top 10 fastest growing websites globally and repeatedly produced sustained revenue & EBITDA growth in dynamic and changing markets.
