Samson Folarin is an award-winning investigative journalist and Editor of Weekend Titles at PUNCH Newspapers in Nigeria. His team produces Saturday PUNCH and Sunday PUNCH (print and digital).
 
With over a decade of experience, he has led impactful investigations exposing corruption, injustice, and human rights violations, while shaping high-quality journalism at PUNCH.
 
A former Chevening scholar (2023), Folarin earned a Master’s in Investigative Journalism at City, University of London (now City St George’s), where he sharpened his expertise in uncovering hidden truths and holding power to account.
 
His work has earned prestigious recognition. He is a multiple winner of the Wole Soyinka Award for Investigative Reporting, Diamond Awards for Media Excellence, and Nigeria Media Merit Award.
 
Passionate about public accountability and social impact, Folarin possesses strong expertise in editing and compelling storytelling. As one of Nigeria’s young, forward-thinking newsroom leaders, he is driving the innovative integration of Artificial Intelligence into editorial processes to enhance the efficiency of his team.
