Suresh Sambandam is the Founder and CEO of Kissflow, a global SaaS leader with 10,000+ customers across 160 countries. Under his leadership, Kissflow has become a go-to platform for enterprises seeking to simplify work and fast-track their digital transformation through an intuitive blend of collaboration, coordination, and control.

A serial entrepreneur with three U.S. patents to his name, Suresh is on a mission to democratize technology and make enterprise-grade innovation accessible to all. His journey is anything but conventional. At just 17, he chose to skip the traditional path of engineering to help run his father’s business. A computer programming class sparked his passion for tech and led him to launch his own training center — setting the stage for a remarkable entrepreneurial journey.

Despite not holding a formal degree, Suresh was selected to work at HP and later at Selectica, whose division was acquired by Accenture. These experiences shaped his worldview and gave him the confidence to start OrangeScape Technologies in 2003. In 2019, the company evolved into Kissflow Inc., marking a new chapter of global growth.

Beyond business, Suresh is a staunch advocate for India’s startup ecosystem. He is a Co-founder of SaaSBoomi, Asia’s largest community-led SaaS founders’ movement, and spends significant time mentoring first-time entrepreneurs. In 2021, he made headlines for gifting BMWs to five long-time Kissflow employees — a testament to his belief in recognizing loyalty and building people-first organizations.

Since then, Suresh launched Dream Tamil Nadu, an initiative focused on building a trillion-dollar vision for the state by 2030 — aligning purpose with progress. More recently, Suresh launched MudhalVC, which follows the Y-combinator model on a mission to ignite mass entrepreneurship across Tamilnadu, with a special focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Through its accelerator program, ‘Idea Pattarai,’ the firm nurtures innovation and empowers early-stage founders, taking a grassroots approach to building the next generation of entrepreneurs. MudhalVC has invested across diverse sectors, including Food-tech, Electric Vehicles, Health-tech, SaaS, and Bio-tech. Its portfolio includes innovative companies such as Amura, Bversity, BookingBee, MeenSatti, Mushroom MaMa, Pickmyad, Social Gallery, InspectionOne, Bad Boy, Correctmate, Trashbotics, and several others.
