Senior Advisor at Bonnier News since 2020, Thomas Mattsson leads projects at the group level, both strategically and operationally.  In 2020, he was appointed acting CEO of the trade organization Tidningsutgivarna (Nov 2020-Aug 2021) and was editor-in-chief of Expressen for ten years (2009 and 2019), and of Expressen Digitala Medier (2005-2009). Bonnier News publishes Expressen, Expressen TV, DN, Dagens industri, HD-Sydsvenskan and MittMedia’s local newspapers (Bonnier News Local), among many other news outlets in Sweden.
