From 2008 to 2011 he was head of Planning and Sports at Canal Extremadura TV, where he also directed and presented the programmes ‘SOLODXT’ and ‘Zona Champions’.

He returned to the Territorial Centre of RTVE in Extremadura in January 2012, which he took over shortly after until 2017.

From October 2017 to 7 July, he has been general director of the Extremadura Audiovisual Media Corporation (CEXMA).

A career that he has harmonised with his tasks as ambassador of the Learning Society of Extremadura, mentor of the programme ‘Extremadura Open Future/ La Atalaya’, member of Kairós (Team for sustainable Educational and Social Transformation), and specialist and disseminator of Mobile Journalism.

In 2015, the Regional Government of Extremadura awarded him the Sports Merit Award.
