Victoria Svanberg is President of NWT Media AB in Sweden. NWT Media is a successful local and regional media group outside the large cities of Sweden, and she represents the fourth generation of this family-owned publishing business, which consists of several local and regional newspapers. NWT’s head office is situated in the midsize Swedish town of Karlstad. She is also Chairperson of the Media Freedom Board of WAN-IFRA which provides guidance and insight on its Media Freedom activities and strategic direction, with a specific emphasis on programmes that receive funding from donors in support of WAN-IFRA’s media development programmes. She is also President of News Media Europe.
