Yearry Panji Setianto holds the position of an Assistant Professor at the Journalism Department of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. In this role, he instructs classes on communication theories, data journalism, and digital research methods. Additionally, in 2019, he served as a Visiting Researcher at the Digital Ethnography Research Center (DERC) of RMIT University. Yearry is engaged in research concerning the impact of datafication on Indonesian society. He is also exploring how the Indonesian media contributes to the public discourse on artificial intelligence as well as how newer technologies impact journalism practices in the country.
