Zakhar is the Chief Operating Officer at the Kyiv Independent, Ukraine’s biggest English-language media outlet. He is also a Co-founder and Managing Editor at The Fix Media, a media outlet about the European publishing sector. Before joining the Kyiv Independent, Zakhar worked as a consultant, where he helped over 20+ European independent publishers in areas such as organizational transformation, building reader revenue products, and audience development.
