AI Futures Lab 2026, led by WAN-IFRA in collaboration with OpenAI, will support 12 media organisations in Latin America through a six-month process to design, develop and prepare AI-native solutions for deployment, aligned with their editorial and commercial goals.
This initiative is designed for organisations that have already made meaningful progress in AI adoption and are ready to take the next step: bringing innovation into real operational scale.
The focus of the programme: moving beyond experimentation towards the development of products and capabilities with practical application across editorial, product, business and strategy.
Alongside strategic and technical support, the programme also includes additional benefits designed to accelerate the development of selected initiatives.
