Registration closed for 2025
There will be a total of three awards winners in each category – with an overall Gold and Silver award in the main division and a special Gold winner for small/medium companies. The small/medium company division is created to recognise smaller media companies producing great work. This special award is presented to news media companies with an annual revenue of less than US$10 million.
Entries from companies, regardless of size, will compete for the top Gold or Silver honours in their respective categories. If a small/medium company emerge as the overall Gold or Silver winner in the main division, as has happened in the past, the next highest scoring small/medium company will receive the special award in the special division.
All this means more opportunities for small/medium publishers to shine and get noticed! If you annual revenue is below US$10 million, do remember to indicate in your online entry that you wish to be considered for the special small/medium award. WAN-IFRA reserves the right to decide which companies are eligible for the small/medium awards.
