Best in Print 2023

The “Best in Print Asia Awards” is the annual print quality competition organised by WAN-IFRA to recognise newspapers and magazines in Asia who print their publication as per ISO 12647-3 and WAN-IFRA standards. The competition is aimed to showcase the quality of print reproduction while fostering competitiveness in the newspaper printing industry.

The competition has two categories:

a) For newspapers / magazines with less than 100,000 copies and

b) For newspapers / magazines with more than 100,000 copies.

The competition evaluates key technical process parameters, including dot gain at 40% and 70%, mid-tone spread, grey balance, color space in percentage, color conformity, color register, and visual general printing quality (GPQ).

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE:

Any newspaper or magazine from Asia and Middle East region in print format are eligible to participate in this competition.

AWARDS PRESENTATION: 

The winners of Best in Print Asia Awards 2023 will be presented trophies at “Indian Printers Summit 2023”.

1. The top three winners in each of the categories will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies.
2. Other participants with a quality score of 150 points or above will receive a certificate of merit.
3.  All the participants will receive a report of the technical capabilities.
