Carbon Footprint Calc

GHG Accounting

Know more

Carbon footprint measures the amount of greenhouse gases (GHG), especially carbon dioxide, that are emitted by a person, an organization, or an activity. It can be used to compare the environmental impact and to find ways to reduce it. There are different ways to calculate a carbon footprint, depending on what is being measured and how.

Some common methods are the Greenhouse Gas Protocol for organizations, which are consumption-based GHG emissions accounting for countries.

By adhering to Paris Agreement on climate change, the legally binding international treaty on climate change, this project aims to mitigate the environmental impact of newspaper publishing, and reduce the consumption of power, materials, and utilities, thereby saving costs. Additionally, as many international advertisers have environmental policies, making newspapers more eco-friendly enhances their attractiveness to all stakeholders.
