The Digital Media Asia 2021 gave me the chance to learn first-hand how the big players are doing their transformation. For small news organizations such as SunStar, it’s tempting to feel envy at what big newsrooms can do and in little time. But more than envy, the DMA inspires us to evolve in our own way. That in itself is an infusion of hope badly needed by media companies already in the ICU (intensive care unit).
