In order to extend the competition to media companies that have launched outstanding digital projects, but often do not compete on a level playing field and resources compared to larger media outlets, WAN-IFRA will award a small winner or venue in each category.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Media outlets with newsrooms of less than 100 journalists will be eligible.
- This prize will be awarded to the small or local medium that has obtained the highest score in each of the categories of the competition.
- If your outlet belongs to a larger conglomerate, please only indicate the number of journalists in your division.
- WAN-IFRA reserves the right to decide which companies are eligible for the small or local media awards.
