Many talk about the future potential of AI, but what can we do here and now? VG and its parent company Schibsted, one of the leading media organizations in Scandinavia, have developed nearly 30 internal AI tools and use AI to analyze news cycles, as well as their own AI analysis tools to process VG’s internal data. Moving from being a digital-first organization, VG and Schibsted are well on their way to becoming an AI-first news organization, with ongoing AI projects in every department, from sports and celebrity news to investigative journalism.
In this session, presented by Nacho Delgado of Unidad Editorial, we explore how artificial intelligence is transforming journalism, with a focus on the tools and practices used by UE. We will analyze how AI responds to the growing demand for immediacy and agility in newsrooms, enabling the transition from paper to digital, and improving SEO and social media optimization.
