Zurich is a fascinating city – a combination of nature and recreation, culture, tradition, gastronomy, economy and business, art and nightlife and a high quality of life. Not to forget the breathtaking panoramas around Lake Zurich and the Alps.

The city also offers an excellent culinary scene, from traditional Swiss dishes such as Zürcher Geschnetzeltem and fondue to international and modern gourmet cuisine. The city is also home to several Michelin-starred restaurants. As one of the world’s most important financial centres and the headquarters of international companies, Zurich is also interesting for business travellers. There is only one thing that Zurich is not – it is not the capital of Switzerland. Officially, there is no captial in Switzerland and the so called Bundesstadt is Bern.
