Morning Meeting at Amedia where we will learn about Amedia’s AI Sandbox and their journey of creating an in-house AI environment that got more than half of the journalists to use the tool.

After lunch, we will visit Aller Media. The Aller Media group has a diversified business portfolio in Norway, focused on technology. The group has leading companies in content production on various channels, concept development, communication, content marketing, service design, customer relationship management, search engines, research and social media. With strong brands such as Dagbladet, Se og Hør, kk and SOL, Aller Media is one of Norway’s largest publishers. In our visit we will have an opportunity to learn about the ways in which they are successfully integrating AI into their operations.

We will leave the hotel and walk a stone’s throw away to Aftenposten and VG: We’ll visit Schibsted’s Headquarters where we will be given newsroom tours and sit down in intimate round-table discussions to speak with decision-makers on embracing AI technology cross-departmentally and to learn more in-depth about AI tools currently being used in their editorial content production. We’ll also get behind-the-scenes access on their latest AI-powered activities and developments presented from their AI Lab.

Our first visit will be at Bonnier News– Sweden’s largest private group. The daily newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Dagens industri constitute the company’s core business, which has experienced a strong growth phase in recent years. We will meet with editors from various departments who will present on innovation and share the ways they are successfully integrating AI into Bonnier News’ strategy.

9:00 – 12:00 Confirmed meeting at Schibsted: We will head out in the morning to visit Schibsted Sweden. Schibsted News Media is a family of digital brands with a strong Nordic position with a mission to empower people in their daily lives. It consists of a broad portfolio of more than 55 different brands including VG, Aftenposten, E24, Bergens Tidende, Stavanger Aftenblad, Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet and Omni. In Stockholm, we will hear insights from some of their brands on their successful implementation of AI in their operations.

Study Tour ends after group lunch around 14:30 CET.
