US Newsrooms Study Tour

How AI is supporting journalism

Join our exclusive study tour from October 13–17, 2024, for a rare opportunity to see how American newsrooms are responding to the profound shifts in media and tech

We’ll visit iconic and emerging newsrooms in New York and Washington DC, where you’ll meet newsroom leaders and see how they are adapting and innovating in response to today’s complex and disruptive challenges.

Over four days, you’ll gain insight into revamped editorial strategies and see first hand how AI and technology are reshaping the newsroom – from storytelling, investigations, production, to fact-checking and engagement.

We will kick off in New York with a welcome dinner for participants on the evening of October 13, followed by visits to some of the city’s most influential newsrooms and media organizations in the U.S. We will meet analysts mapping industry changes and challenges, and some of the disruptors. The tour will end in Washington DC on October 17.
