Responsible Sourcing and Supply Chain Emissions

During turbulent times a consistent approach to responsible sourcing is even more vital. UPM buys products from thousands of B2B suppliers globally, and managing the vast variety of suppliers and their impacts is a challenge. UPM has established standards for our suppliers and we expect our suppliers to promote these requirements in their own supply chains. When it comes to emissions, those occurring in our supply chain are also our responsibility. More and more companies are committing to Net-Zero, meaning that they have to manage and reduce also their Scope 3 emissions.
