Young Media Leaders Fellowship
Eligibility Criteria
– Journalists and editors under the age of 35.
– Minimum five years working as a journalist/editor, and currently employed full-time in a news organisation based in eligible Asian countries*.
* Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
– Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Applicants not required to work in English-language media.
Please note that applicants must:
– Secure the agreement and support of their chief editor or direct reporting editor to commit to full participation throughout the programme.
– Be open to invitations to participate in future Young Media Leaders Fellowship alumni events.
